Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of performing on stage. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. In 2000, she was cast in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was one of her roles. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is a podcast consisting of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's story.
